Welcome to

RotaCare Bay Area

FREE MEDICAL CLINICS

MISSION: "RotaCare is a volunteer-driven and patient-centered provider of free healthcare for the uninsured and underserved in our community."

VISION: Equitable access to high-quality healthcare.

What is RotaCare?

RotaCare Bay Area, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation. The organization was formed in 1989 when a local Rotarian, Dr. Mark Campbell and his Campbell Rotary Club identified the need of many local residents who had limited access to primary healthcare services. They resolved to meet this need with a clinic in Santa Clara. That first clinic, located at the former Agnew State Hospital site has since closed but in its place we now have 9 clinics located throughout the Greater Bay Area. Our RotaCare Free Medical Clinics are located in Coastside, Concord, Monterey, Northern Peninsula, Pittsburg, Richmond, San Jose, San Rafael, and Santa Cruz

RotaCare Bay Area is a volunteer alliance of medical professionals, organizations and community members dedicated to providing free primary, quality healthcare services to uninsured families and individuals with limited ability to pay for medical care. We are volunteer driven and supported solely through locally based philanthropy.

What can I do to help?

Get the Facts

RotaCare Free Medical Clinics provide care to a growing population of working and unemployed residents who are unable to pay for or access primary and urgent medical care services.

RotaCare is heavily supported through grants, donations and the hard work of our volunteers

All RotaCare services provided at the clinic are free to the patient including medical exams, diagnostic testing, lab testing, and most medications.

RotaCare saves taxpayers money providing patients accessible medical care in our community clinics rather than expensive emergency room care.
