 The
Monterey Peninsula RotaCare Clinic is fully staffed
with three physicians, including a pediatrician and
two to three nurses. Volunteer staff also includes at
least three clerical from the local Rotary Clubs and
community. We are a non-invasive, acute care facility;
however, we have many physicians that do pro-bono work
for us outside the clinic as needed. Our transfer agreement
with Community Hospital takes care of all our blood
tests, x-rays, ultrasound and cardiograms. Because we
have an agreement with corporate Longs Drugs, our patients
pay nothing for their medications, including over-the-counter
medication.
Our clinic has been well received by the community and
because of this we are well financially thanks to grants
and donations.
