Monterey Free Clinic

Volunteers Are The Heart Of RotaCare Monterey!
Every Wednesday, over 30 volunteers come together as a team to staff the Monterey RotaCare clinic. Here are a few reasons they volunteer:
“Because people are so grateful when they get help. The attitude of gratitude brings me back each week.” –Helen
“I really enjoy working with people, and knowing that I am helping someone is really gratifying for me.“ –Margie
“I like helping others – but prefer doing tasks that keep me ‘out of the spotlight’.” RotaCare is the perfect place for me to volunteer because there are a hundred things that need to be done behind the scenes to enable the clinic to operate efficiently.” –Cheryl
“I volunteer at RotaCare because I can help disadvantaged and truly grateful people of my community, in a collegial environment, without the burden of the business side of medicine, and feel rewarded for my work.” –Greg
