Dr. Pate Thomson receives an Appreciation Award from the Rotacare Bay Area Board of Directors!
RotaCare’s Monterey Clinic is celebrating 27 years of providing free medical care to uninsured residents in our community.

An estimated 45,000 – 50,000 residents of Monterey County are uninsured (per Dr. Chad Harris, June 17, 2021, Monterey Herald).

Our RotaCare Clinic provides telehealth visits weekly. In-person examinations and wellness checks occur every-other week.

The volunteers continue to provide comprehensive medical care and specialty referrals; as well as, nutrition and physical therapy consults, and stress management counseling.

CHOMP generously provides laboratory and diagnostic testing at no charge.

We collaborate with community partners that provide reduced-cost services for specialty care.

For improved self-care and monitoring, we provide patients with free glucometers/diabetic supplies, weight scales, blood pressure monitors, and pedometers.
