RotaCare’s Monterey Clinic is celebrating 27 years of providing free medical care to uninsured residents in our community.

 

  • An estimated 45,000 – 50,000 residents of Monterey County are uninsured (per Dr. Chad Harris, June 17, 2021, Monterey Herald).

  • Our RotaCare Clinic provides telehealth visits weekly.  In-person examinations and wellness checks occur every-other week.

  • The volunteers continue to provide comprehensive medical care and specialty referrals; as well as, nutrition and physical therapy consults, and stress management counseling.

  • CHOMP generously provides laboratory and diagnostic testing at no charge.

  • We collaborate with community partners that provide reduced-cost services for specialty care.

  • For improved self-care and monitoring, we provide patients with free glucometers/diabetic supplies, weight scales, blood pressure monitors, and pedometers.
