Meeting the Community

Community events are wonderful opportunities to meet community members, share information, and learn more about nearby organizations. RotaCare Northern Peninsula recently participated in 5 local events:

Daly City Parks and Recreation’s:

  • Fun, Safety and Health Fair (August 5)

  • Latino Heritage Month Celebration (September 23)

  • Filipino Heritage Month Celebration (October 14)

Holy Child and St. Martin Episcopal Church’s

  • Free health education forum October 1st Nutrition talk hosted in collaboration with Seton Medical Center and Filipino Mental Health Initiative of San Mateo

  • Free Annual Health Fair (October 21)

At the Daly City Parks and Recreation events, RotaCare Northern Peninsula volunteers Shiobee Paningbatan (RN), Branden Manuel (EMT), and Don Reyes (EMT) offered blood pressure readings, blood oxygen readings, and distributed flyers about RotaCare as well as health education handouts about blood pressure and healthy eating. Clinical Coordinator Maddy Mumm gave a nutrition talk at Holy Child and St. Martin Church and participated in the church’s health fair.

In an effort to protect the health of our patients, volunteers, and staff and in conjunction with the "Shelter In Place" order from San Mateo County, RotaCare Northern Peninsula Free Clinic is offering phone visits to our established patients.

A clinic staff member will return your call. Please note that returned phone calls may come from a private/blocked number.  If you are expecting a call from RotaCare Northern Peninsula, please make sure to answer private/blocked calls.


IMPORTANT NOTE: We are not able to provide Coronavirus/ COVID-19 testing.

We DO NOT provide the following: routine physical exams; evaluations/paperwork for work, DMV, worker's comp, or disability; emergency care; women's health services; speciality care; chronic pain management; medications; TB tests and immunizations.

Please call the San Mateo County Immunization Program at (650) 573-2877 for information about immunization clinics in the area.

The clinic does not have a pediatrician scheduled every Monday. If a child needs medical attention, please call ahead to confirm when a pediatrician will be at the clinic.
